June's Flower is the Rose..... The Language of Flowers..

Roses are the Flower for June.

In the language of flowers the meaning of Rose colours is vast.
Here is some great info on Rose colours.

A Red rose means 'I love you' in the language of flowers. Giving Red Roses can mean passion and intense desire.
But Red roses also can convey regret or sadness.
The number of flowers can also convey a message. A dozen Red Roses can mean 'be mine, or I love you'.

White Roses: In the language of flowers a white rose can mean a new beginning, purity, chastity and innocence. This makes white Roses a lovely pick for a new bride.
The white Rose can also mean sympathy and are also indicative of spirituality.

Yellow Roses: In the language of flowers the Yellow Rose means friendship or joy, warmth or welcoming.
The Yellow Rose is said to be the colour used for friendships not romance.

Pink Roses: There are so many variations of Pink and they all can have different subtle meanings. Overall Pink (and pink shades) convey gentle emotions such as sweetness, admiration, joy, gratitude and appreciation. The Coral colour can mean desire and the Dark Pink can mean thank you.

Orange Roses: In the language of flowers the Orange Rose swayed from meaning passion and energy to fascination. In my research I've also noticed that they can convey intense desire and pride. An orange rose can be used to convey a message of passion and romance (similar to Red Roses)

Blue Roses: Blue Roses are an elusive Rose (such as the Black Rose) and is such because it is not a natural colour. Because of this they represent the unattainable. Like the Black Rose they convey a message of of mystery.
The Black Rose gives a message of death and farewell. Again,  Black is not a natural colour, however some roses that are dark red can look black. Giving Black Roses can be seen as the ending of a romance. Black Roses can also mean the ending of someone, however it can also have the meaning of the end of something (such as a job or task)

Green Roses: Green Roses convey the message of balance, hope. It is the colour of harmony and fertility. It can give a meaning of good luck, get well and best wishes.

Mixing colours:
Mix it up and give a variety of emotions!
A Green Rose with a White Rose can mean Get Well or Good luck with your new job.
A Red Rose and White Rose can mean true love and my intentions are honorable.

All in All the colour of flowers can mean something. BUT remember that it is the giving of the flowers that can mean more.

I hope you enjoyed my brief info.
